Improving Performance

Plantech is committed to working with authorities to review their services, and assist in measuring internal indicators to help identify where process improvements and efficiency gains can be made.

Local Planning Departments using Plantech software have been recognised as being the most improved on more than one occasion in recent years.

Performance in Planning

In early 2007, Suffolk Coastal District Council was awarded a 'good' two star rating from the Audit Commission for its Planning service. The Council has 'promising prospects for improvement' following a detailed inspection of all aspects of the service.

In the same year, Bury Metropolitan Borough Council, a long term user of Plantech 's Planning software and the first adopter of our Enterprise Programme, was in the top 6% of all Planning Departments across the country. The Audit Commission awarded the Authority a three star rating overall and gave it an 'Improving Strongly' assessment - the best possible result.

e-Planning

In 2005, Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council achieved top marks for its planning web pages in the Pendleton Review. Sedgemoor District Council was among those who had their planning web pages classed as 'excellent' by the Government.
